design IT Australia was established in 2000 as a boutique consulting firm with a focus on the online user experience. Our mission is to enhance the end-users interaction with software by ensuring it is usable and engaging.
Ben Tootell is the founder of design IT and either consults in a individual capacity to organisations and consulting houses or has the ability to draw on years of experience in the industry and source the best visual designers and developers to help you bring your project to fruition.
Ben brings with her 16 years experience in IT with 6 years experience in the requirements gathering and design phases for deadline-driven online projects. She is able to gather, interpret and document business and user requirements, define site information architecture and interaction design.
Her background is of a technical, creative and human interaction nature which ensures the conceptualisation of a visually appealing and technically feasible solutions which balance both the user and business needs.
Above all, Ben has the ability to maintain a commercial focus whilst encouraging innovative thinking to improve the customer experience. She has strong analytical, organizational, communication, people and projects management skills.
Her experience is spread across both the public and private sectors in a variety of industries including; publishing, retail, real estate, finance, health and construction. She is degree qualified with a Bachelor of IT Majoring in Online and Web-based System.
